They can include a living area similar to what you would see in a normal Class A or Class C RV. A toterhome is a commercial grade version of the popular RV toy hauler. Features:

Toterhomes are spacious and available with many luxuries found in RVs today including basement storage, washer/dryers, satellite dishes, home theaters, back-up cameras, hydraulic leveling, security systems, and more.
Like other RVs, toterhomes often have one or more slideouts. At the touch of a button, the slideout moves a portion of the RVs exterior wall outward as much as 3 1/2 feet to enlarge the living, dining, sleeping or even kitchen area. When extended, the slideout protrudes beyond the normal outside walls of the RV, like an addition on a conventional home.
RVs built on heavy duty truck frames are very safe because they can easily handle the light duty application presented by the RV layout. If properly maintained, they will also easily outlast a conventional RV.
Commercial truck RV conversions come in three basic types:
- Fully enclosed coaches similar to Class A and Class C RVs
- Garage style Toy Hauler conversions
- True Toterhomes with a smaller living area (up to 16 feet) and a 5th wheel hitch at the back
No special license is required to drive a toterhome or truck conversion for non-commercial purposes. Special licensing may apply in some states if extremely heavy or long loads are being hauled.
